² in the hope of eternal life,^(A) which God, who does not lie,^(B) promised before the beginning of time,^{(C) 3} and which now at his appointed season^(D) he has brought to light^(E) through the preaching entrusted to me^(F) by the command of God^(G) our Savior,^(H)

⁴ To Titus,^(I) my true son^(J) in our common faith:

Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.^(K)
