⁶ On that day there will be no light; the sunlight and moonlight will diminish.^{[a][b](A) 7} It will be a unique day known only to the Lord,^(B) without day or night, but there will be light at evening.

²³ The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.^(A)

⁵ Night will be no more;^(A) people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light,^(B) and they will reign for ever and ever.
