Bible in 90 Days
33 The LORD also spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
34 “When you have come to the land of Canaan (which I give you in possession), if I send the plague of leprosy to a house in the land of your possession,
35 “then he who owns the house shall come and tell the Priest, saying, ‘I think there is some plague in the house.’
36 “Then the Priest shall command them to empty the house before the Priest goes into it, to see the plague, so that all that is in the house is not made unclean. And then shall the Priest go in to see the house.
37 “And he shall examine the plague, to see if the plague is in the walls of the house, and if there are deep spots, greenish or reddish, which seem to be lower than the wall.
38 “Then the Priest shall go out of the house, to the door of the house, and shall quarantine the house for seven days.
39 “So, the Priest shall come again on the seventh day. And if he sees that the plague has increased in the walls of the house,
40 “then the Priest shall command them to take away the stones in which the plague is. And they shall cast them into a foul place outside the city.
41 “Also, he shall have the house scraped inside, all around. And the dust that they have scraped off shall be poured outside the city in an unclean place.
42 “And they shall take other stones and put them in the places of those stones. And they shall take other mortar with which to plaster the house.
43 “But if the plague comes again and breaks out in the house, after he has taken away the stones, and after he has scraped and plastered the house,
44 “then the Priest shall come and see. And if the plague grows in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house. It is unclean.
45 “And he shall tear down the house, with the stones of it, and its timber, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them out of the city to an unclean place.
46 “Moreover, he who goes into the house while it is quarantined, he shall be unclean until the evening.
47 “He, also, who sleeps in the house shall wash his clothes. He, likewise, who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
48 “But if the Priest shall come and see that the plague has spread no further in the house, after the house is plastered, the Priest shall pronounce the house clean. For the plague is healed.
49 “Then he shall take two sparrows, cedarwood, scarlet and hyssop, to purify the house.
50 “And he shall kill one sparrow, over pure water, in an earthen vessel.
51 “And he shall take the cedarwood and the hyssop and the scarlet with the live sparrow and dip them in the blood of the slain Sparrow, and in the pure water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
52 “So shall he cleanse the house with the blood of the sparrow, and with the pure water, and with the live sparrow, and with the cedarwood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet.
53 “Afterward, he shall release the live sparrow out of the town into the broad fields. So shall he make atonement for the house. And it shall be clean.
54 “This is the Law for every plague of leprosy and black spot,
55 “and of the leprosy of the garment, and of the house,
56 “and of the swelling, and of the scab, and of the white spot.
57 “This is the Law of the Leprosy, to teach when a thing is unclean and when it is clean.”
15 Moreover, the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘Whoever has a discharge from his flesh is unclean because of his discharge.
3 ‘And this shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: either his flesh runs with his discharge or he has a blockage from his issue. This is his uncleanness.
4 ‘Every bed upon which he lies that has the issue shall be unclean. And everything upon which he sits shall be unclean.
5 ‘Also, whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
6 ‘And he who sits on anything upon which he sat who has the issue shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
7 ‘Also, he who touches the flesh of him who has the issue shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
8 ‘If he who has the issue also spits upon him who is clean, he shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
9 ‘And whatever saddle he rides upon that has the issue shall be unclean.
10 ‘And whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening. And he who bears those things shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
11 ‘Likewise, whomever he touches who has the issue (and has not washed his hands in water) shall wash his clothes and wash himself in water and shall be unclean until the evening.
12 ‘And the vessel of earth that he touches, which has the issue, shall be broken. And every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
13 ‘But if he who has an issue is cleansed of his issue, then he shall count seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in pure water. So shall he be clean.
14 ‘Then on the eighth day, he shall take to him two turtledoves (or two young pigeons) and come before the LORD, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall give them to the Priest.
15 ‘And the Priest shall make a Sin Offering of one of them, and of the other a Burnt Offering. So, the Priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
16 ‘Also, if any man’s issue of seed departs from him, he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.
17 ‘And every garment, and every skin whereupon issue of seed shall be, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening.
18 ‘If he who has an issue of seed lies with a woman, they shall both wash themselves with water, and be unclean until the evening.
19 ‘Also, when a woman shall have a discharge, and her issue in her flesh shall be blood, she shall be isolated for seven days. And whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.
20 ‘And whatever she lies upon in her impurity shall be unclean. And everything that she sits upon shall be unclean.
21 ‘Also, whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and wash himself with water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
22 ‘And whoever touches anything that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the evening,
23 ‘so that whether he touches her bed or anything upon which she sat, he shall be unclean until the evening.
24 ‘And if a man lies with her, and her impurity touches him, he shall be unclean for seven days. And all the whole bed upon which he lies shall be unclean.
25 ‘Also, when a woman’s discharge of blood runs for a long time in addition to the time of her impurity (that is, when she has a discharge longer than her impurity), all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness she shall be unclean, as in the time of her impurity.
26 ‘Every bed upon which she lies (as long as her discharge lasts) shall be to her as the bed of her impurity. And whatever she sits upon shall be unclean, as her uncleanness when she is isolated.
27 ‘And whoever touches these things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
28 ‘But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count seven days. And afterward, she shall be clean.
29 ‘And on the eighth day, she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and bring them to the Priest at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
30 ‘And the Priest shall make a Sin Offering of the one, and of the other a Burnt Offering. And the Priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD, for the issue of her uncleanness.
31 ‘Thus shall you separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness if they defile My Tabernacle that is among them.
32 ‘This is the Law of him who has a discharge, and of him from whom goes a discharge of seed by which he is defiled,
33 ‘and of she who is ill from her impurity, and of he who has a running discharge, whether it be man or woman, and of he who lies with her who is unclean.’”
16 Furthermore, the LORD spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came before the LORD and died.
2 And the LORD said to Moses, “Speak to Aaron, your brother, so that he does not come just at any time into the Holy Place, within the Veil, before the Mercy Seat, which is upon the Ark. So that he does not die. For I will appear in the cloud, upon the Mercy Seat.
3 “After this manner shall Aaron come into the Holy Place: with a young bullock for a Sin Offering, and a ram for a Burnt Offering.
4 “He shall put on the Holy Linen Coat, and shall have linen trousers upon his flesh, and shall be wrapped with a linen girdle, and shall cover his head with a linen miter. These are the Holy Garments. Therefore, he shall wash his flesh in water when he puts them on.
5 “And he shall take two male goats from the Congregation of the children of Israel, for a Sin Offering, and a ram for a Burnt Offering.
6 “Then, Aaron shall offer the bullock for his Sin Offering, and make an atonement for himself and for his house.
7 “And he shall take the two male goats and present them before the LORD at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
8 “Then Aaron shall cast lots over the two male goats, one lot for the LORD and the other for the Scapegoat.
9 “And Aaron shall offer the goat, upon which the LORD’s lot shall fall, and shall make a Sin Offering.
10 “But the goat upon which the lot shall fall to be the Scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make reconciliation and to be let go (as a Scapegoat) into the wilderness.
11 “Thus, Aaron shall offer the bullock for his Sin Offering, and make a reconciliation for himself and for his house and shall kill the bullock for his Sin Offering.
12 “And he shall take a censer full of burning coals from off the Altar before the LORD. And with his hands full of sweet incense, finely beaten, he shall bring it within the Veil,
13 “and shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, so that the cloud of the incense may cover the Mercy Seat that is upon the Testimony. So, he shall not die.
14 “And he shall take from the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it with his finger upon the Mercy Seat, eastward. And he shall sprinkle the blood seven times with his finger, before the Mercy Seat.
15 “Then he shall kill the goat which is the people’s Sin Offering and bring its blood within the Veil and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the Mercy Seat, and before the Mercy Seat.
16 “So shall he purge the Holy Place from the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and from the trespasses of all their sins. So shall he also do for the Tabernacle of the Congregation placed with them, in the midst of their uncleanness.
17 “And there shall be no man in the Tabernacle of the Congregation when he goes in to make an atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out and has made an atonement for himself and for his household and for all the Congregation of Israel.
18 “Afterward, he shall go out to the Altar that is before the LORD and make a reconciliation upon it. And he shall take from the blood of the bullock, and from the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the Altar, all around.
19 “So shall he sprinkle the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
20 “When he has finished purging the Holy Place, and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and the Altar, then he shall bring the live goat.
21 “And Aaron shall put both his hands upon the head of the live goat and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their trespasses in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat. And he shall send him away (by the hand of a man appointed) into the wilderness.
22 “So, the goat shall bear all their iniquities upon him, into the land that is not inhabited. And he shall release the goat into the wilderness.
23 “Afterward, Aaron shall come into the Tabernacle of the Congregation and take off the linen clothes, which he put on when he went into the Holy Place, and leave them there.
24 “He shall also wash his flesh with water in the Holy Place, and put on his own clothing, and come out, and make his Burnt Offering and the Burnt Offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.
25 “Also, the fat of the Sin Offering shall he burn upon the Altar.
26 “And he who carried forth the goat (the Scapegoat) shall wash his clothes and wash his flesh in water. And after that he shall come into the camp.
27 “Also, someone shall carry the bullock for the Burnt Offering and the goat for the Sin Offering outside the camp (whose blood was brought to make a reconciliation in the Holy Place), to be burnt in the fire with their skins and with their flesh and with their dung.
28 “And he who burns them shall wash his clothes, and wash his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
29 “So, this shall be an Ordinance forever to you: the tenth day of the seventh month, you shall humble your souls and do no work at all, whether it is one of the same country or a stranger who sojourns among you.
30 “For that day, the Priest shall make an atonement for you, to cleanse you. You shall be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
31 “This shall be a Sabbath of rest to you. And you shall humble your souls, by an Ordinance, forever.
32 “And the Priest whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate (to minister in his father’s place) shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes and holy vestments,
33 “and shall purge the Holy Sanctuary and the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall cleanse the Altar, and make an atonement for the Priests and for all the people of the Congregation.
34 “And this shall be an everlasting Ordinance to you: to make an atonement for the children of Israel, for all their sins, once a year.” And as the LORD commanded Moses, he did.
17 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, saying,
3 “Whoever of the House of Israel kills a bullock, or lamb, or goat inside the camp, or kills it outside of the camp,
4 “and does not bring it to the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer an offering to the LORD before the Tabernacle of the LORD, blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood. Therefore, that man shall be cut off from among his people.
5 “Therefore, the children of Israel shall bring their offerings which they would have offered abroad in the field (via the Priest) and present them to the LORD at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and offer them for Peace Offerings to the LORD.
6 “Then the Priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the Altar of the LORD, before the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savor to the LORD.
7 “And no more shall they offer their offerings to demons, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be an Ordinance to them forever, in their generations.”’”
8 “Also, you shall say to them, ‘Whoever of the House of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, offers a Burnt Offering or Sacrifice,
9 ‘and does not bring it to the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer it to the LORD, that man shall be cut off from his people.
10 ‘Likewise, whoever of the House of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, eats any blood, I will set My Face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.
11 ‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood. And I have given it to you to offer upon the Altar, to make an atonement for your souls. For this blood shall make an atonement for the soul.
12 ‘Therefore, I said to the children of Israel, “None of you shall eat blood. Nor shall the stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.
13 “Moreover, whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, takes by hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust.
14 “For the life of all flesh is its blood. It is as his life.” Therefore, I said to the children of Israel, “You shall eat the blood of no flesh. For the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.
15 “And every person who eats that which dies naturally or that which is torn by beasts, whether it be one of the same country or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes and wash himself in water and be unclean until the evening. Afterward he shall be clean.
16 “But if he washes neither them nor his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.”’”
18 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘I am the LORD your God.
3 ‘You shall not do as they do in of the land of Egypt, wherein you dwelt. And you shall not do after the manner of the land of Canaan, where I will bring you, nor walk in their ordinances.
4 ‘Do after My Judgments. And keep My Ordinances, to walk therein. I am the LORD your God.
5 ‘Therefore, you shall keep My statutes and My judgments. Which, if a man does, he shall then live in them. I am the LORD.
6 ‘No one shall come near any of the kindred of his flesh, to uncover her nakedness. I am the LORD.
7 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother. She is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
8 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife. It is your father’s nakedness.
9 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother. Whether she is born at home or born outside the home. You shall not uncover their nakedness.
10 ‘The nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, you shall not, I say, uncover their nakedness. For it is your nakedness.
11 ‘The nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of your father (she is your sister) you shalt not, I say, uncover her nakedness.
12 ‘You shall not uncover the shame of your father’s sister. She is your father’s kinswoman.
13 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s kinswoman.
14 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not go in to his wife. She is your aunt.
15 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
16 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife. It is your brother’s nakedness.
17 ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of the wife and of her daughter. Nor shall you take her son’s daughter, nor her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are kinsfolk. It is wickedness.
18 ‘Also, you shall not take a wife with her sister (during her life), to be her rival in uncovering her nakedness upon her.
19 ‘You shall not also go to a woman to uncover her nakedness as long as she is isolated for her impurity.
20 ‘Moreover, you shall not give yourself to your neighbor’s wife by carnal copulation, to be defiled with her.
21 ‘Also, you shall not give your children as an offering to Molech. Nor shall you defile the Name of your God. I am the LORD.
22 ‘You shall not lie with the male as one lies with a woman. It is abomination.
23 ‘Also, you shall not lie with any beast, to be defiled with it. Nor shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down with it. It is abomination.
24 ‘You shall not defile yourselves in any of these things. For in all these the Nations are defiled, which I will cast out before you.
25 ‘And the land is defiled. Therefore, I will visit its wickedness upon it, and the land shall vomit out her inhabitants.
26 ‘Therefore, you shall keep My Ordinances and My Judgments and commit none of these abominations (he who is of the same country, as well as the stranger who sojourns among you).
27 ‘For the men of the land have done all these abominations which were before you. And the land is defiled.
28 ‘And shall not the land spew you out if you defile it, as it spewed out the people who were before you?
29 ‘For whoever shall commit any of these abominations, the people that do shall be cut off from among their people.
30 ‘Therefore, you shall keep My Ordinances, so that you do not do any of the abominable customs which have been done before you, and so that you do not defile yourselves therein. I am the LORD your God.’”
19 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to all the Congregation of the children of Israel and say to them, ‘You shall be holy. For I, the LORD your God, am Holy.
3 ‘Every man shall fear his mother and his father and shall keep My Sabbath. I am the LORD your God.
4 ‘You shall not turn to idols, nor make molten gods. I am the LORD your God.
5 ‘And when you shall offer a Peace Offering to the LORD, you shall offer it freely.
6 ‘It shall be eaten the day you offer it, or the next day. And that which remains until the third day shall be burnt in the fire.
7 ‘For if it is eaten on the third day, it shall be unclean. It shall not be accepted.
8 ‘Therefore, he who eats it shall bear his iniquity. Because he has defiled the hallowed thing of the LORD. And that person shall be cut off from his people.
9 ‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap every corner of your field. Nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.
10 ‘You shall not gather the grapes of your vineyard, nor gather every grape of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am the LORD your God.
11 ‘You shall neither steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.
12 ‘Also, you shall not swear by My Name falsely. Nor shall you defile the Name of your God. I am the LORD.
13 ‘You shall neither wrong nor rob your neighbor. The workman’s wages shall not remain with you until the morning.
14 You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your God. I am the LORD.
15 ‘You shall not do unjustly in judgment. You shall neither favor the person of the poor nor honor the person of the mighty. You shall judge your neighbor justly.
16 ‘You shall not walk about with tales among your people. You shall not stand against the life of your neighbor. I am the LORD.
17 ‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall plainly rebuke your neighbor, and not allow him to sin.
18 ‘You shall neither avenge nor be mindful against the children of your people, but shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.
19 ‘You shall keep My Ordinances. You shall not let your cattle breed with diverse kinds. You shall not sow your field with mixed seed. Nor shall a garment of diverse things, of linen or wool, come upon you.
20 ‘Also, whoever lies carnally with a woman who is a bondmaid, engaged to a husband, and not redeemed, nor freedom given her, she shall be scourged. They shall not die because she is not made free.
21 ‘And he shall bring for his Trespass Offering to the LORD—at the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation—a ram for a Trespass Offering.
22 ‘Then, the Priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD with the ram of the Trespass Offering, concerning his sin which he has done. And pardon shall be given to him for his sin which he has committed.
23 ‘Also, when you shall come into the land, and have planted every tree for food, you shall count its fruit as uncircumcised. Three years it shall be uncircumcised to you. It shall not be eaten.
24 ‘But in the fourth year, all its fruit shall be holy to the praise of the LORD.
25 ‘And the fifth year, you shall eat of its fruit, so that it may yield its increase to you. I am the LORD your God.
26 ‘You shall not eat flesh with the blood. You shall not practice witchcraft or soothsaying.
27 ‘You shall not shave around the sides of your heads. Nor shall you mar the tufts of your beard.
28 ‘You shall not cut your flesh for the dead, nor make any print of a mark upon you. I am the LORD.
29 ‘You shall not make your daughter common, to cause her to be a whore, lest the land also falls to whoredom, and the land is full of wickedness.
30 ‘You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My Sanctuary. I am the LORD.
31 ‘You shall not regard those who work with spirits, or soothsayers. You shall not seek them, to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.
32 ‘You shall stand up before the gray-headed and honor the person of the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.
33 ‘And if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him.
34 ‘The stranger who dwells with you shall be as one of yourselves. And you shall love him as yourself. For you were strangers in the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
35 ‘You shall do no injustice in judgment (in length, weight or in measure).
36 ‘You shall have just balances, true weights, a true ephah, and a true hin. I am the LORD your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 ‘Therefore, you shall observe all My Ordinances, and all My Judgments, and do them. I am the LORD.’”
20 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “You shall also say to the children of Israel, ‘Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who gives his children to Molech, he shall die the death. The people of the land shall stone him to death.
3 ‘And I will set My Face against that man and cut him off from among his people, because he has given his children to Molech, to defile My Sanctuary and to pollute My Holy Name.
4 ‘And if the people of the land hide their eyes—winking at that man when he gives his children to Molech—and do not kill him,
5 ‘then will I set My Face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off and all that go a whoring after him to commit whoredom with Molech from among their people.
6 ‘If anyone turns after such as work with spirits and after soothsayers, to go a whoring after them, then will I set My Face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.
7 ‘Sanctify yourselves, therefore, and be holy. For I am the LORD your God.
8 ‘Therefore, keep My ordinances and do them. I am the LORD, Who sanctifies you.
9 ‘If anyone curses his father or his mother, he shall die the death. He has cursed his father and his mother. His blood shall be upon him.
10 ‘And the man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, because he has committed adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall die the death.
11 ‘And the man who lies with his father’s wife, he has uncovered his father’s nakedness. They shall both die, their blood upon them.
12 ‘Also, the man who lies with his daughter-in-law, they both shall die the death. They have wrought abomination, their blood upon them.
13 ‘Also, the man who lies with the male, as one lies with a woman, they have both committed abomination. They shall die the death, their blood upon them.
14 ‘Likewise, he who takes a wife and her mother commits wickedness. They shall burn him and them with fire, so that there is no wickedness among you.
15 ‘Also, the man who lies with a beast shall die the death. And you shall kill the beast.
16 ‘And if a woman comes to any beast, and lies with it, then you shall kill the woman and the beast. They shall die the death, their blood upon them.
17 ‘Also, if a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is wickedness. Therefore, they shall be cut off in the sight of their people. He who uncovered his sister’s shame, he shall bear his iniquity.
18 ‘Also, the man who lies with a woman who has her period, and uncovers her nakedness, opens her fountain, and she opens the fountain of her blood, they shall both be cut off from among their people.
19 ‘Moreover, you shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister or of your father’s sister, because you have uncovered your kin. They shall bear their iniquity.
20 ‘Likewise, the man who lies with his father’s brother’s wife, and uncovers his uncle’s nakedness, they shall bear their iniquity and shall die childless.
21 ‘So, the man who takes his brother’s wife commits filthiness. He has uncovered his brother’s shame. They shall be childless.
22 ‘Therefore, you shall keep all My Ordinances and all My Judgments, and do them, so that the land where I bring you to dwell does not spew you out.
23 ‘Therefore, you shall not walk in the manners of this Nation which I cast out before you. For they have committed all these things. Therefore, I abhorred them.
24 ‘But I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land. And I will give it to you to possess it, a land that flows with milk and honey.” I am the LORD your God, Who has separated you from the people.
25 ‘Therefore, you shall distinguish between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean birds and clean. You shall not defile yourselves with beast and bird, or with any creeping thing that the ground brings forth which I have separated from you as unclean.
26 ‘Therefore, you shall be holy to Me. For I, the LORD, am holy. And I have separated you from the people, so that you should be Mine.
27 ‘And if a man or woman has a spirit of divination or soothsaying in them, they shall die the death. They shall stone them to death, their blood upon them.’”
21 And the LORD said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, ‘Let no one be defiled by the dead among his people,
2 ‘except for his kinsman who are near to him: his mother or his father or his son or his daughter or his brother
3 ‘or his virgin sister who is near to him and who had not had a husband. For her he may lament.
4 ‘He shall not lament for the Prince among his people, to pollute himself.
5 ‘They shall not make bald places upon their head, nor shave off the locks of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6 ‘They shall be holy to their God and not pollute the Name of their God. For the sacrifices of the LORD, made by fire, and the bread of their God they offer. Therefore, they shall be holy.
7 ‘They shall not take a whore to wife, or one polluted. Nor shall they marry a woman divorced from her husband. For such a one is holy to his God.
8 ‘Therefore, you shall sanctify him. For he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you. For I, the LORD, Who sanctifies you, am Holy.
9 ‘If a priest’s daughter falls to play the whore, she pollutes her father. She shall be burnt with fire.
10 ‘Also, the High Priest among his brothers (upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and who is consecrated to put on the garments) shall neither uncover his head nor tear his clothes.
11 ‘Nor shall he go near any dead body, nor make himself unclean by his father or by his mother.
12 ‘Nor shall he go out of the Sanctuary, nor pollute the Holy Place of his God. For the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him. I am the LORD.
13 ‘Also, he shall take a virgin for his wife.
14 ‘A widow, or a divorced woman, or a polluted woman, or a harlot, these he shall not marry. But he shall take a virgin of his own people for a wife.
15 ‘Nor shall he defile his seed among his people. For I am the LORD, Who sanctifies him.’”
16 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
17 “Speak to Aaron, and say, ‘Whoever of your seed, in their generations, has any blemishes, shall not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18 ‘For whoever has any blemish shall not come near: a man blind or lame, or that has a flat nose, or that has anything misshapen,
19 ‘or a man who has a broken foot or a broken hand,
20 ‘or is crookbacked, or bleary-eyed, or has a blemish in his eye, or is scurvy, or scabbed, or is a eunuch.
21 ‘None of the seed of Aaron the Priest who has a blemish shall come near to offer the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire. He has a blemish. He shall not approach to offer the bread of his God.
22 ‘The bread of his God, of the Most Holy and of the Holy, he shall eat.
23 ‘But he shall not go in to the Veil, nor come near the Altar, because he has a blemish. He pollutes My Sanctuaries. For I am the LORD, Who sanctifies them.’”
24 Thus spoke Moses to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.
22 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, so that they are separated from the Holy things of the children of Israel, and so that they do not pollute My Holy Name in those things which they hallow to Me. I am the LORD.
3 “Say to them, ‘Whoever of all your seed, among your generations after you, who touches the Holy things which the children of Israel hallow to the LORD—having his uncleanness upon him—that person shall be cut off from My sight. I am the LORD.
4 ‘Also, whoever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or has a discharge, he shall not eat of the Holy things until he is clean. And whoever touches anyone who is unclean by reason of the dead, or a man whose issue of seed runs from him,
5 ‘or the man who touches any creeping thing by which he may be made unclean, or a man by whom he may take uncleanness (whatever uncleanness he has),
6 ‘the person who has touched such ones shall therefore be unclean until the evening and shall not eat of the Holy things unless he has washed his flesh with water.
7 ‘But when the Sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall eat of the Holy things afterward. For it is his food.
8 ‘Of a beast that dies naturally, or is torn by other beasts (by which he may be defiled), he shall not eat. I am the LORD.
9 ‘Let them therefore keep My Ordinance, lest if they defile it, they bear their sin for it and die for it. I, the LORD, sanctify them.
10 ‘Also, no stranger shall eat of the Holy thing, nor the guest of the Priest. Nor shall a hired servant eat of the Holy thing.
11 ‘But, if the Priest buys any with money, he shall eat of it. Also, he who is born in his house shall eat of his food.
12 ‘Also, if the Priest’s daughter is married to a stranger, she may not eat of the Holy offerings.
13 ‘Nevertheless, if the Priest’s daughter is a widow or divorced, and has no child, but has returned to her father’s house, she shall eat of her father’s bread, as she did in her youth. But no stranger shall eat thereof.
14 ‘If a man eats of the Holy thing unwittingly, he shall add a fifth to it and give it to the Priest with the hallowed thing.
15 ‘So shall they not defile the Holy things of the children of Israel which they offer to the LORD,
16 ‘nor cause the people to bear the iniquity of their trespass while they eat their Holy thing. For I, the LORD, hallow them.’”
17 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
18 “Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘Whoever of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, who will offer his sacrifice for all their vows and for all their Free Offerings which they use to offer to the LORD for a Burnt Offering,
19 ‘you shall offer of your own free will a male, without blemish, of the cattle, of the sheep, or of the goats.
20 ‘You shall not offer anything that has a blemish. For that shall not be acceptable for you.
21 ‘And whoever brings a Peace Offering to the LORD to accomplish his vow, or for a Free Offering from the cattle, or from the sheep, his free offering shall be perfect. No blemish shall be in it.
22 ‘Blind or broken or maimed or having an ulcer, or scurvy, or scabs: these shall not be offered to the LORD. Do not make an offering by fire of these upon the Altar of the LORD.
23 ‘However, you may present a bullock or a sheep that is either malformed or lacking for a Free Offering. But it shall not be accepted for a vow.
24 ‘You shall not offer to the LORD that which is bruised or crushed or broken or cut away. Nor shall you make an offering of it in your land.
25 ‘Nor shall you offer any of these as the bread of your God from the hand of a stranger, because their corruption is in them. There is a blemish in them. They shall not be accepted for you.’”
26 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
27 “When a bullock or a sheep or a goat shall be brought forth, it shall remain for seven days with its mother. And from the eighth day forth it shall be accepted for a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD.
28 “As for the cow or the ewe, you shall not kill her and her young in one day.
29 “So, when you will offer a Thank Offering to the LORD, you shall offer willingly.
30 “The same day it shall be eaten. You shall leave none of it to tomorrow. I am the LORD.
31 “Therefore, you shall keep My Commandments and do them. I am the LORD.
32 “Nor shall you pollute My Holy Name. But I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I, the LORD, sanctify you,
33 “Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. I am the LORD.”
23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘The feasts of the LORD which you shall call the Holy Assemblies, these are My Feasts.
3 “Six days work shall be done. But on the seventh day, the Sabbath of Rest, a Holy Convocation. You shall do no work. It is the Sabbath of the LORD, in all your dwellings.
4 “These are the Feasts of the LORD, Holy Convocations which you shall proclaim in their seasons.
5 “In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, at evening , the Passover of the LORD.
6 “And on the fifteenth day of this month, the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.
7 “On the first day you shall have a Holy Convocation. You shall do no servile work.
8 “Also, you shall offer sacrifice made by fire to the LORD for seven days. The seventh day shall be a Holy Convocation. You shall do no servile work.”
9 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
10 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the Priest.
11 ‘And he shall shake the sheaf before the LORD, so that it may be acceptable for you. The Priest shall shake it the day after the Sabbath.
12 ‘And that day when you shake the sheaf, you shall prepare a lamb without blemish, of a year old, for a Burnt Offering to the LORD.
13 ‘And the Meat Offering shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour, mingled with oil, for a sacrifice of sweet savor, made by fire to the LORD. And the Drink Offering shall be a fourth of a hin of wine.
14 ‘And you shall eat neither bread nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that you have brought an offering to your God. This shall be a Law forever in your generations and in all your dwellings.
15 ‘And you shall count for yourselves (from the day after the Sabbath): from the day that you shall bring the sheaf of the Shake Offering, seven Sabbaths shall be complete.
16 ‘Until the day after the seventh Sabbath you shall count fifty days. Then you shall bring a new Meat Offering to the LORD.
17 ‘You shall bring bread out of your dwellings for the Shake Offering. They shall be two loaves of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour, baked with leaven, for firstfruits to the LORD.
18 ‘Also, with the bread, you shall offer seven lambs without blemish of one year old and a young bullock and two rams. They shall be for a Burnt Offering to the LORD, with their Meat Offerings and their Drink Offerings, for a sacrifice made by fire of a sweet savor to the LORD.
19 ‘Then you shall prepare a male goat for a Sin Offering, and two lambs of one year old, for Peace Offerings.
20 ‘And the Priest shall shake them to and fro before the LORD with the bread of the firstfruits and with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the LORD, for the Priest.
21 ‘So, the same day you shall proclaim it may be a Holy Convocation to you. You shall do no servile work, an ordinance forever in all your dwellings, throughout your generations.
22 ‘And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not completely rid the corners of your field when you reap. Nor shall you glean anything from your harvest, but shall leave them to the poor and to the stranger. I am the LORD your God.’”
23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
24 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘In the seventh month, on the first of the month, you shall have a Sabbath for the remembrance of blowing the trumpets, a Holy Convocation.
25 ‘You shall do no servile work, but offer sacrifice made by fire to the LORD.’”
26 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
27 “Also, the tenth of this seventh month shall be a Day of Reconciliation. It shall be a Holy Convocation to you. And you shall humble your souls and offer sacrifice made by fire to the LORD.
28 “And that same day you shall do no work, for it is a Day of Reconciliation, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
29 “For every person that does not humble himself that same day shall be cut off from his people.
30 “And every person that shall do any work that same day, the same person I will also destroy from among his people.
31 “You shall do no sort of work, a Law forever in your generations and in all your dwellings.
32 “This shall be to you a Sabbath of Rest; and you shall humble your souls. On the ninth of the month, at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your Sabbath.”
33 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
34 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall begin the Feast of Tabernacles to the LORD, for seven days.
35 ‘On the first day: a Holy Convocation. You shall do no servile work.
36 ‘For seven days you shall offer sacrifice made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day shall be a Holy Convocation. And you shall offer sacrifices made by fire to the LORD. It is the Solemn Assembly. You shall do no servile work.
37 ‘These are the Feasts of the LORD (which you shall call Holy Convocations) to offer sacrifice made by fire to the LORD, Burnt Offering, and meat offering, sacrifice, and Drink Offerings, every one upon his day,
38 ‘in addition to the Sabbaths of the LORD, and in addition to your gifts, and in addition to all your vows, and in addition to all your Free Offerings, which you shall give to the LORD.
39 ‘But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a Holy Feast to the LORD for seven days. On the first day shall be a Sabbath. And on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath.
40 ‘And on the first day, you shall take for yourselves the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook. And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.
41 ‘So, you shall keep this Feast to the LORD for seven days in the year, by a perpetual Ordinance, through your generations. You shall keep it in the seventh month.
42 ‘You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are born Israelites shall dwell in booths,
43 ‘so that your posterity may know that I had the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.’”
44 So Moses declared the Feasts of the LORD to the children of Israel.
24 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Command the children of Israel that they bring pure pressed olive oil to you, for the light, to make the lamps burn continually.
3 “Outside the Veil of the Testimony, in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, shall Aaron tend them, from evening until morning, before the LORD always. This shall be a Law, forever, throughout your generations.
4 “He shall tend the lamps upon the pure Candlestick before the LORD, perpetually.
5 “Also, you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes from it. Two tenths of an ephah shall be in one cake.
6 “And you shall set them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure Table before the LORD.
7 “You shall also put pure incense upon the rows, so that it may be on the Bread for a remembrance, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
8 “Every Sabbath he shall put them in rows before the LORD, forevermore, from the children of Israel, for an everlasting Covenant.
9 “And it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. And they shall eat it in the Holy Place. For it is Most Holy to him of the offerings of the LORD, made by fire, by a perpetual Ordinance.”
10 And there went out among the children of Israel the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian. And this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel fought each other in the camp.
11 So the Israelitish woman’s son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. And they brought him to Moses. Also, his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
12 And they put him under guard until he told them the mind of the LORD.
13 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
14 “Bring the blasphemer outside the camp. And let all who heard him put their hands upon his head. And let all the Congregation stone him.
15 “And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.
16 ‘And he who blasphemes the Name of the LORD shall be put to death. All the Congregation shall stone him to death, as well as the stranger, just as he who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the Name, let him be killed.
17 ‘Also, he who kills any man, he shall be put to death.
18 ‘And he who kills a beast, he shall restore it, beast for beast.
19 ‘Also, if a man causes a blemish in his neighbor, just as he has done so shall it be done to him.
20 ‘Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. Such a blemish as he has made in any, such shall be repaid to him.
21 ‘And he who kills a beast shall restore it. But he who kills a man shall be killed.
22 ‘You shall have one Law. It shall be the same for the stranger as for one born in the country, for I am the LORD your God.’”
23 Then, Moses told the children of Israel. And they brought the blasphemer out of the camp and stoned him with stones. So, the children of Israel did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
25 And the LORD spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying,
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When you shall come into the land which I give you, the land shall keep Sabbath to the LORD.
3 ‘Six years you shall sow your field. And six years you shall cut your vineyard and gather its fruit.
4 ‘But the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of Rest to the land, the LORD’s Sabbath. You shall neither sow your field nor cut your vineyard.
5 ‘That of your harvest which grows of its own accord you shall not reap. Nor shall you gather the grapes that you have left unlabored. It shall be a year of rest to the land.
6 ‘And the rest of the land shall be food for you, for you and for your servant, and for your maid, and for your hired servant, and for the stranger who sojourns with you,
7 ‘and for your cattle, and for the beasts that are in your land. All of its increase shall be food.
8 ‘Also, you shall count seven Sabbaths of years for yourself (seven times seven years). And the space of the seven Sabbaths of years will be forty nine years to you.
9 ‘Then, on the tenth of the seventh month, you shall cause the Trumpet of the Jubilee to blow. On the Day of the Reconciliation you shall make the Trumpet blow throughout all your land.
10 ‘And you shall hallow that year, the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty in the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be the Jubilee to you. And you shall return every man to his possession. And every man shall return to his family.
11 ‘This fiftieth year shall be a year of Jubilee to you. You shall neither sow nor reap that which grows on its own, nor gather the grapes of untended vines.
12 ‘For it is the Jubilee. It shall be holy to you. You shall eat of its increase out of the field.
13 ‘In the year of this Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession.
14 ‘And when you sell anything to your neighbor, or buy from your neighbor’s hand, you shall not oppress one another.
15 ‘According to the number of years after the Jubilee, you shall buy from your neighbor. According to the number of the years of produce, he shall sell to you.
16 ‘According to the multitude of years, you shall increase its price. And according to the fewness of years, you shall lower the price of it. For he sells to you according to the number of the years of produce.
17 ‘Therefore, no one oppress his neighbor. But you shall fear your God. For I am the LORD, your God.
18 ‘Therefore, you shall obey My Ordinances, and keep My Laws and do them. And you shall dwell in the land in safety.
19 ‘And the land shall give her fruit. And you shall eat your fill and dwell there in safety.
20 ‘And if you shall say, “What shall we eat the seventh year, for we shall neither sow nor gather in our increase?”
21 ‘I will send my blessing upon you in the sixth year. And it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
22 ‘And you shall sow the eighth year and eat of the old fruit until the ninth year. Until its produce comes, you shall eat from the old harvest.
23 ‘Also, the land shall not be sold to be cut off. For the land is Mine. You are but strangers and sojourners with Me.
24 ‘Therefore, in all the land of your possession you shall grant a redemption of the land.
25 ‘If your brother is impoverished, and sells his possessions, then his redeemer shall come—his near kinsman—and buy out that which his brother sells.
26 ‘And if he has no redeemer, but has become able to buy it out himself,
27 ‘then he shall count the years of his sale and restore the remainder to the man to whom he sold it. So shall he return to his possession.
28 ‘But if he is not able to restore it to himself, then that which was sold shall remain in the hand of him who had bought it until the year of the Jubilee. And in the Jubilee it shall come out. And he shall return to his possession.
29 ‘Likewise, if a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, he may buy it out again within a whole year after it is sold. Within a year may he buy it out.
30 ‘But, if it is not bought out within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established as “cut off” to him who bought it, throughout his generations. It shall not go out in the Jubilee.
31 ‘But the houses of villages which have no walls around them shall be counted as the fields of the country. They may be bought out again and shall go out in the Jubilee.
32 ‘Notwithstanding, the cities of the Levites—the houses of the cities of their possession—the Levites may redeem at all seasons.
33 ‘And if a man purchases from the Levites, the house that was sold and the city of their possession shall go out in the Jubilee. For the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.
34 ‘But the field of the suburbs of their cities shall not be sold. For it is their perpetual possession.
35 ‘Moreover, if your brother is impoverished and fallen in decay with you, you shall relieve him. And as a stranger and sojourner, so shall he live with you.
36 ‘You shall take no usury from him, nor interest. But you shall fear your God, so that your brother may live with you.
37 ‘You shall not give him your money to usury, nor lend him your provisions for increase.
38 ‘I am the LORD your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, to be your God.
39 ‘Also, if your brother next to you is impoverished, and is sold to you, you shall not compel him to serve as a bond servant.
40 ‘As a hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with you. He shall serve you to the year of Jubilee.
41 ‘Then shall he depart from you, he and his children with him, and shall return to his family. And to the possession of his fathers shall he return.
42 ‘For they are My servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. They shall not be sold as bondmen are sold.
43 ‘You shall not rule over him cruelly but shall fear your God.
44 ‘Also, your bond servant and your bondmaid whom you shall have shall be from the heathen who are around you. From them you shall buy servants and maids.
45 ‘And moreover, from the children of the strangers who are sojourners among you, from them you shall buy and from their families who are with you (which they begat in your land). These shall be your possession.
46 ‘So you shall take them as inheritance for your children after you, to possess them by inheritance. You shall use their labors forever. But over your brothers, the children of Israel, you shall not rule one over another with cruelty.
47 ‘If a sojourner or stranger near you gains, and your brother near him is impoverished and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner near you (or to the stock of the stranger’s family),
48 ‘after he is sold, he may be bought out. One of his brothers may buy him out;
49 ‘or his uncle, or his uncle’s son may buy him out; or any of the kindred of his flesh among his family may redeem him; or if he can, he may buy himself out.
50 ‘Then he shall reckon with his buyer from the year that he was sold to him to the year of Jubilee. And the money of his sale shall be according to the number of years. He shall be with him according to the time of a hired servant.
51 ‘If there are many years remaining, shall he give again for his deliverance according to them, from the money with which he was bought.
52 ‘If there remains but few years to the Year of Jubilee, then he shall reckon with him, and according to his years give again for his redemption.
53 ‘He shall be with him, year after year, as a hired servant. He shall not rule cruelly over him in your sight.
54 ‘And if he is not redeemed at this time, he shall go out in the year of Jubilee (he and his children with him).
55 ‘For the children of Israel are servants to Me. They are My servants, whom I have brought out of the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.’”
26 ‘You shall make no idols or graven images. Nor shall you rear up any pillar. Nor shall you set any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it. For I am the LORD your God.
2 ‘You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My Sanctuary. I am the LORD.
3 ‘If you walk in My Ordinances and keep My Commandments, and do them,
4 ‘I will then send you rain in due season. And the land shall yield her increase. And the trees of the field shall give their fruit.
5 ‘And your threshing shall reach until the vintage. And the vintage shall reach until sowing time. And you shall eat your bread in abundance, and dwell in your land safely.
6 ‘And I will send peace in the land. And you shall sleep. And no one shall make you afraid. Also, I will rid the land of evil beasts. And the sword shall not go through your land.
7 ‘Also you shall chase your enemies and they shall fall before you upon the sword.
8 ‘And five of you shall chase a hundred. And a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight. And your enemies shall fall before you upon the sword.
9 ‘For I will have respect to you and make you increase and multiply you and establish My Covenant with you.
10 ‘You shall also eat old stores and clear out the old because of the new.
11 ‘And I will set My Tabernacle among you. And My Soul shall not loathe you.
12 ‘Also, I will walk among you. And I will be your God. And you shall be My people.
13 ‘I am the LORD your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, so that you would not be their bondmen. And I have broken the bonds of your yoke and made you go upright.
14 ‘But if you will not obey Me, or do all these Commandments;
15 ‘and if you shall despise My Ordinances, or if your soul abhors My Laws (so that you will not do all My Commandments, but break My Covenant),
16 ‘then will I also do this to you: I will appoint fearfulness over you, a consumption and fever to consume the eyes and make the heart heavy. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 ‘And I will set My Face against you. And you shall fall before your enemies. And those who hate you shall reign over you. And you shall flee when no one pursues you.
18 ‘And if, after this, you will not obey Me, then will I punish you seven times more, according to your sins.
19 ‘And I will break the pride of your power. And I will make your Heaven as iron, and your Earth as brass.
20 ‘And your strength shall be spent in vain. Nor shall your land give her increase. Nor shall the trees of the land give their fruit.
21 ‘And if you walk stubbornly against Me, and will not obey Me, I will then bring seven times more plagues upon you, according to your sins.
22 ‘I will also send wild beasts upon you, which shall rob you, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number. So your highways shall be desolate.
23 ‘Yet, if by these you will not be reformed by Me, but walk stubbornly against Me,
24 ‘then I will also walk stubbornly against you. And I will strike you yet seven times for your sins.
25 ‘And I will send a sword upon you that shall avenge the quarrel of My Covenant. And when you are gathered in your cities, I will send the pestilence among you. And you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26 ‘When I shall break the supply of your bread, then ten women shall bake your bread in one oven. And they shall deliver your bread again by weight. And you shall eat, but not be satisfied.
