26 “Afterward, you shall make the Tabernacle, with ten curtains of fine-twined linen and blue silk, and purple, and scarlet. And in them you shall make Cherubims of skilled workmanship.
2 “The length of one curtain shall be 28 cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits. Every one of the curtains shall have the same measure.
3 “Five curtains shall be coupled to one another; and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another.
4 “And you shall make loops of blue silk upon the edge of one curtain, which is at the outermost edge of the coupling. And you shall make the same loops on the outermost edge of the other curtain, in the second coupling.
5 “You shall make fifty loops on one curtain; and you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which is in the second coupling. The loops shall be directly opposite each other.
6 “You shall also make fifty clasps of gold and couple the curtains to each another with the clasps. And it shall be one Tabernacle.
7 “Also, you shall make curtains of goats’ hair, to be a covering upon the Tabernacle. You shall make eleven curtains.
8 “The length of a curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of a curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains shall be the same length.
9 “And you shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves. And you shall double over the sixth curtain upon the front of the covering.
10 “And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of one curtain, on the outermost end of the coupling, and fifty loops on the outermost edge of the curtain in the second coupling.
11 “Likewise, you shall make fifty clasps of copper and fasten them on the loops, and shall couple the covering together, so that it may be one.
12 “And the remnant that remains in the curtains of the covering, the half- curtain that remains, shall be left at the back side of the Tabernacle.
13 “A cubit on one side and a cubit on the other side (of that which is left in the length of the curtains of the covering) may remain on either side of the Tabernacle, to cover it.
14 “Moreover, for that covering, you shall make a covering of rams’ skins, (dyed red) and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.
15 “Also, you shall make boards of shittim wood for the Tabernacle, to stand upright.
16 “The length of a board shall be ten cubits; and the breadth of one board shall be one and a half cubits.
17 “Two tenons shall be set in one board, to join two boards together. Thus shall you make it for all the boards of the Tabernacle.
18 “And you shall make boards for the Tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side.
19 “And you shall make forty pedestals of silver under the twenty boards, two pedestals under one board for its two tenons, and two pedestals under another board for its two tenons.
20 “In the same way, on the other side of the Tabernacle, toward the north side, there shall be twenty boards
21 “and their forty pedestals of silver, two pedestals under one board and two pedestals under another board.
22 “And on the side of the Tabernacle, toward the west, you shall make six boards.
23 “Also, you shall make two boards in the corners of the Tabernacle, on the two sides.
24 “Also, they shall be joined beneath, and they shall be joined above, to a ring. It shall be this way for them both. They shall be for the two corners.
25 “So they shall be, eight boards having pedestals of silver (sixteen pedestals), with two pedestals under one board and two pedestals under another board.
26 “Then, you shall make five poles of shittim wood, for the boards of one side of the Tabernacle
27 “and five poles for the boards of the other side of the Tabernacle (also, five poles for the boards of the west side of the Tabernacle).
28 “And the middle bar shall go through the midst of the boards, from end to end.
29 “And you shall cover the boards with gold and make their rings of gold, for places for the poles. And you shall cover the poles with gold.
30 “So you shall raise up the Tabernacle, according to its pattern which was shown to you on the mountain.
31 “Moreover, you shall make a veil of blue silk, and purple, and scarlet, and fine-twined linen. You shall make it of skillful workmanship, with Cherubims.
32 “And you shall hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood covered with gold (whose hooks shall be of gold) upon four pedestals of silver.
33 “Afterward, you shall hang the veil on the hooks, so that you may bring into it (that is, within the veil) the Ark of the Testimony. And the veil shall make a separation for you, between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place.
34 “Also, you shall put the Mercy Seat upon the Ark of the Testimony, in the Most Holy Place.
35 “And you shall set the Table outside the veil, and the Lampstand opposite the Table, on the south side of the Tabernacle. And you shall set the Table on the north side.
36 “Also, you shall make a screen for the door of the Tabernacle, of blue silk, and purple, and scarlet, and fine-twined linen, expertly woven.
37 “And you shall make five pillars of shittim wood for the screen and cover them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold; and you shall cast five pedestals of copper for them.”
27 “Moreover, you shall make the Altar of shittim wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad (the altar shall be square) and the height thereof three cubits
2 “And you shall make horns for it in its four corners. The horns shall be made of the same wood; and you shall cover it with copper.
3 “Also, you shall make its ash pans for its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its fleshhooks, and its fire pans. You shall make all its instruments of copper.
4 “And you shall make a grate for it, a network of copper. Upon that grate you shall also make four copper rings, on its four corners.
5 “And you shall put it under the edge of the altar beneath, so that the grate may be in the midst of the altar.
6 “Also, you shall make poles for the altar (poles of shittim wood) and shall cover them with copper.
7 “And its poles shall be put in the rings, to bear it. The poles shall be upon the two sides of the altar.
8 “You shall make the altar hollow between the boards. As God showed you on the mount, so shall they make it.
9 “Also, you shall make the court of the Tabernacle on the south side. The court shall have curtains of fine-twined linen on one side, a hundred cubits long.
10 “And it shall have twenty pillars, with their twenty pedestals of copper. The hooks of the pillars, and their bands, shall be silver.
11 “Likewise, for the whole length of the north side, there shall be hangings of a hundred cubits long, as well as its twenty pillars with their twenty pedestals of copper. The hooks of the pillars, and the bands, shall be silver.
12 “And on the west side, the breadth of the court shall have curtains of fifty cubits, with their ten pillars and their ten pedestals.
13 “And the breadth of the court on the east side shall be fifty cubits.
14 “Also, hangings of fifteen cubits shall be on one side, with their three pillars and their three pedestals.
15 Likewise, on the other side, shall be hangings of fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and their three pedestals.
16 “And in the gate of the court shall be a veil of twenty cubits of blue silk, and purple, and scarlet, and fine-twined linen, expertly woven, with its four pillars and their four sockets.
17 “All the pillars of the court shall have bands of silver all around, with their hooks of silver and their pedestals of copper.
18 “The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty, (at either end) and the height five cubits; and the hangings shall be made of fine-twined linen and their sockets of copper.
19 “All the vessels of the Tabernacle (for all manner of its service), and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court shall be copper.
20 “And you shall command the children of Israel to bring to you pure oil of pressed olive for the light, so that the lamps may always burn.
21 “In the Tabernacle of the Congregation, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep order before the LORD from evening to morning, as an everlasting statute to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.
25 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 “And five of them were wise, and five foolish.
3 “The foolish took their lamps but took no oil with them.
4 “But the wise took oil in their flasks with their lamps.
5 “Now, while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “And at midnight there was a cry made, ‘Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him!’
7 “Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
8 “And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil. For our lamps are out.’
9 “But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, for there will not be enough for us and you. Rather, go to the market and buy some for yourselves.
10 “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. And those who were ready went in with him to the wedding. And the gate was shut.
11 “Afterwards the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord! Lord! Open up for us!’
12 “But he answered, and said, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’
13 “Therefore, watch. For you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.
14 “For the Kingdom of Heaven is as a man who, going into a strange country, called his servants and handed over his goods to them.
15 “And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, each according to his own ability. And immediately he left home.
16 “Then the one who had received the five talents, went and traded with them, and gained another five talents.
17 “Likewise also, the one who received two, gained another two.
18 “But the one who received the one, went and buried it in the earth, and hid his master’s money.
19 “But after a long season, the master of those servants came and settled with them.
20 “Then the one who had received five talents came, and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Master, you handed over to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five more talents with them.’
21 “Then his master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in little. I will make you ruler over much. Enter into your master’s joy.’
22 “Also, the one who had received two talents came, and said, ‘Master, you handed over to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents more.’
23 “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in little. I will make you ruler over much. Enter into your master’s joy.’
24 “Then the one who had received the one talent came, and said, ‘Master, I knew that you were a hard man, who reaps where you do not sow, and gathers where you do not scatter.
25 ‘Therefore, I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’
26 “And his master answered, and said to him, ‘You evil and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I did not scatter.
27 “‘Therefore, you ought to have put my money in the bank. And then at my coming I would have received my own with interest.
28 “‘Therefore, take the talent from him and give it to him who has ten talents.
29 “‘For to everyone who has, it shall be given, and he shall have abundance. But from the one who has not, even that he has shall be taken away.
30 “‘Therefore, cast that unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
31 In You, O LORD, have I put my trust. Let me never be confounded. Deliver me in Your righteousness.
2 Bow down Your ear to me. Make haste to deliver me. Be to me a strong rock, a house of defense to save me.
3 For You are my rock and my fortress. Therefore, direct me and guide me for Your Name’s sake.
4 Draw me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me. For You are my strength.
5 Into Your hand I commend My spirit. For You have redeemed me, O LORD God of Truth.
6 I have hated those who give themselves to deceitful vanities; for I trust in the LORD.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy. For You have seen my trouble. You have known my soul in adversities.
8 And You have not shut me up in the hand of the enemy but have set my feet in an open space.
8 Does not wisdom cry, and understanding utter her voice?
2 She stands in the top of the high places; by the way, in the place of the paths.
3 She cries at the gates, before the city, at the entry of the doors,
4 “O men, I call to you; and my voice to the children of man.
5 “O foolish, understand wisdom. And, O fools, be wise in heart.
6 “Give ear. For I will speak of excellent things. And the opening of my lips shall teach things that are right.
7 “For my mouth shall speak the truth. And my lips abhor wickedness.8 All the words of my mouth are righteous. There is no lewdness, nor perversion in them.
9 “They are all plain to those who will understand; and straight to those who would find knowledge.
10 “Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than fine gold.
11 “For wisdom is better than precious stones. And all pleasures are not to be compared to her.
