Revised Geneva Translation (RGT)
Version
Zechariah 12-13

12 “The burden of the Word of the LORD upon Israel,” says the LORD, “Who spread the heavens and laid the foundation of the Earth and formed the spirit of man within him:

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of poison to all the people, all around. And it will also be with Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.

“And on that day, I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all people. All who lift it up shall be torn, though all the people of the Earth are gathered together against it.

“On that day,” says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with astonishment, and its rider with madness. And I will open My Eyes upon the House of Judah and will strike every horse of the people with blindness.

“And the princes of Judah shall say in their hearts, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength’ in the LORD of Hosts their God.

“On that day, I will make the princes of Judah like coals of fire among the wood, and like a firebrand in the sheaf. And they shall devour all the people all around on the right hand and on the left. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, in Jerusalem.

“The LORD shall also preserve the tents of Judah, as before. Therefore, the glory of the House of David shall not boast, nor the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem against Judah.

“On that day, the LORD shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And on that day, he who is feeble among them shall be the same as David. And the House of David shall be like God’s house, and as the Angel of the LORD before them.

“And on that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

10 “And I will pour the Spirit of grace and of compassion upon the House of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And they shall look upon Me, Whom they have pierced. And they shall lament for Him, as one mourns for his only son, and be sorry for him as one is sorry for his firstborn.

11 “On that day, there shall be great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadad Rimmon in the valley of Megiddo.

12 “And the land shall mourn every family by itself: the family of the House of David by itself and their wives by themselves, the family of the House of Nathan by itself and their wives by themselves,

13 “the family of the House of Levi by itself and their wives by themselves, the family of Shemei by itself and their wives by themselves,

14 “all the families that remain, every family by itself and their wives by themselves.”

13 “At that time, there shall be a fountain opened to the House of David, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

“And at that time,” says the LORD of Hosts, “I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land. And they shall no longer be remembered. And I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart out of the land.

“And when any shall still prophesy, his father and his mother who begat him, shall say to him, ‘You shall not live. For you speak lies in the Name of the LORD. And his father and his mother who begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesies.

“And at that time, every prophet shall be ashamed of his vision after he has prophesied. Nor shall they wear a hairy garment to deceive.

“But he shall say, ‘I am no Prophet. I am a farmer. For man taught me to be a herdsman from my youth up.’

“And one shall say to him, ‘What are these wounds in your hands?’ Then he shall answer, ‘Thus was I wounded in the house of my friends.’

“Arise, O sword, upon My Shepherd, and upon the Man, My Friend!” says the LORD of Hosts. “Strike the Shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered. And I will turn My Hand upon the little ones.

“And in all the land,” says the LORD, “two parts of it shall be cut off and die. But a third of it shall be left.

“And I will bring that third part through the fire, and will refine them as the silver is refined, and will test them as gold is tested. They shall call on My Name, and I will hear them. I will say, ‘It is My people.’ And they shall say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”

Revelation 19

19 And after these things, I heard a great voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and honor and power be to the Lord our God!

“For true and righteous are His judgments! For He has condemned the great whore who corrupted the Earth with her fornication; and has avenged the blood of His servants, shed by her hand!”

And again they said, “Hallelujah! And her smoke rises up for evermore!”

And the 24 elders, and the four beasts, fell down and worshipped God Who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!”

Then a voice came out of the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all his servants; and you who fear Him, both small and great!”

And I heard a voice like that of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of strong thunderings, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty has reigned!

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give glory to Him! For the marriage of the Lamb has come! And his wife has made herself ready!

“And to her it was granted that she should be arrayed with pure fine linen and shining!” For fine linen is the righteousness of saints!”

Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the Lamb’s supper.’” And he said to me, “These words of God are true.”

10 And I fell before his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do it. I am your fellow servant, and one of your brothers, who has the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.”

11 And I saw Heaven open. And behold, a white horse. And He who sat upon him was called faithful and true. And He judges and fights righteously.

12 And His eyes were as a flame of fire. And on His head were many crowns. And He had a name written, that no one knew but Himself.

13 And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood. And His name is called, ‘The Word of God’.

14 And the armies who were in Heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed with fine linen, white and pure.

15 And out of His mouth went a sharp sword; so that with it, He would strike the heathen. For He shall rule them with a rod of iron. For it is He who treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And He has upon his garment, and upon his thigh, a name written, ‘The King of Kings and Lord of Lords’.

17 And I saw an angel stand in the Sun, who cried with a loud voice, saying, “To all the birds that flew by the midst of Heaven: Come! And gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God;

18 “so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of high captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all freemen, and bondmen, and of small and great.”

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the Earth, and their hosts, gathered together to make battle against Him who sat on the horse; and against His army.

20 But the beast was taken, and with him that false prophet who wrought miracles before him (whereby he deceived those who received the beast’s mark and those who worshipped his image). These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21 And the remnant was slain with the sword of Him who sits upon the horse (which comes out of His mouth). And all the birds were filled full with their flesh.

Psalm 147

147 Praise the LORD, for it is good to sing to our God; for it is a pleasant thing and praise is comely.

The LORD builds up Jerusalem and gathers together the dispersed of Israel.

He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their sores.

He counts the number of the stars and calls them all by their names.

Great is our LORD, and great is his power. His wisdom is infinite.

The LORD relieves the meek and abases the wicked to the ground.

Sing to the LORD with praise! Sing upon the harp to our God,

Who covers the heavens with clouds and prepares rain for the Earth and makes the grass grow upon the mountains;

Who gives food to beasts and to the young ravens that cry.

10 He has no pleasure in the strength of a horse, nor does He delight in the legs of man.

11 The LORD delights in those who fear Him and expectantly await His mercy.

12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!

13 For He has made the bars of the gates strong and has blessed your children within you.

14 He sets peace on your borders and satisfies you with the flour of wheat.

15 He sends forth His Commandment upon Earth; and His Word runs very swiftly.

16 He gives snow like wool and scatters the hoary frost like ashes.

17 He casts forth His ice like morsels. Who can abide the cold thereof?

18 He sends His Word and melts them. He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.

19 He shows His Word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.

20 He has not dealt so with every nation; nor have they known His judgments. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD

Proverbs 31:1-7

31 THE WORDS OF KING LEMUEL: The prophecy which his mother taught him.

What, my son?! And what, the son of my womb?! And what, O son of my desires?!

Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to destroy kings.

It is not for kings, O Lemuel. It is not for kings to drink wine, nor for princes strong drink.

Lest he drink and forget the decree; and change the judgment of all the children of affliction.

Give strong drink to him who is ready to perish; and wine to those who have grief of heart.

Let him drink, that he may forget his poverty; and remember his misery no more.
