Căci ai părăsit pe poporul Tău, pe casa lui Iacov, pentru că sunt plini de idolii Răsăritului şi dedaţi la vrăjitorie ca filistenii şi se unesc cu fiii străinilor.

Ţi-ai părăsit poporul, pe cei din Casa lui Iacov! Ei sunt plini de obiceiurile Răsăritului; ei practică divinaţia ca filistenii şi dau mâna cu păgânii.
