If the devil can't make us bad his next trick is to make us busy and burn us out. There's a lot of things that happen inside of us and around us during the holiday seasons; memories from our past, malls, traditions, etc. But what really matters is the manger scene that ushered in this season. One thing I know from being a woman, a mother and a grandma is that there's nothing more discouraging than coming to the end of the Christmas season burned-out from busyness and disconnected from those we love most.

Remember that His words spoken through you are the difference between a simple conversation and an opportunity for transformation.

I believe if The Lord was going to write you a personal letter about battles this life brings it may read like this....

My Beloved Child,

I have given you the ability to speak words of life, but how you choose to live in front of others will make a much louder statement than what you say. Your loving actions and courageous faith will leave an impact long after any words you speak have been forgotten. You are My representative on this earth, so embrace the opportunity to point others to Me by the way that you love Me. Your actions and reactions toward others will be the key to your witness. My light in you will lead those searching in the dark to Me.
