Road Conditions May Vary
As you travel, you will encounter ever-changing weather. In some places, you will encounter the problems caused by rain; but just as cars are built with windshield wipers, God will clear your vision when things in life get stormy. In other places along your journey, the weather may get stiflingly hot; but just as cars have air conditioning, God will send the cooling breeze of His Spirit when things in life heat up. You may run into some cold weather as you travel along the road. Well, girl, you can just reach down and turn up the heat in your car just like you can depend on the Lord to send the warmth of His love when icy winds blow through your life. (2, p.227)
